The Growth Challenge

Before Scalebay stepped in, Le Point faced severe structural, technical, and data bottlenecks:

  • Organic Erosion & Creative Fatigue: A multi-year, structural decline hit organic downloads & user session frequency. Ad creatives lacked variety, with video assets heavily underperforming static images on Meta.
  • Tracking Discrepancies: Lack of subscription tracking and attribution, combined with data configurations buried too deep in the funnel, made data-driven decision-making difficult.
  • Inefficient Acquisition: Legacy ad networks were poorly optimised, focusing strictly on high-cost install volumes (CPI) rather than bottom-funnel subscription events.
  • Platform & Technical Instability: Technical bugs on the Android app and the Apple Store shop directly caused conversion drops, declining store ratings, and a severe underperformance on iOS.

1. Strategic Budget Pivot (Web vs. App)

We executed a massive cost rationalisation on the mobile application and directed budget to the Web. Between 2023 and 2026, mobile app spend was drastically reduced, while the Web budget was nearly tripled.

2. Tracking Overhaul

We initiated a transition to server-side tracking to bypass client-side limitations. Implementing Google Advanced Conversions ensured better attribution and highly accurate ROI calculations for Web campaigns.
